Different requirements for different processing types of PE pipes
Pe Pipe is made by the polymerization of monomer ethylene, due to the different conditions of polymerization reaction such as pressure and temperature during polymerization, different densities of resin can be obtained, and thus there are high-density polyethylene, medium-density polyethylene and low-density polyethylene. In the processing of different types of PE pipe, according to the different conditions of its application, the selection of different resin grades, while the requirements of the extruder and mold are also different.

(4) Good chemical resistance: Hdpe Pipes are resistant to corrosion by a variety of chemical media, and the chemicals present in the soil will not cause degradation of the pipes. Polyethylene is an insulator of electricity, so it will not rot, rust or electrochemical corrosion; in addition it will not promote the growth of algae.
(5) Ageing resistance and long service time: polyethylene pipes containing 2-2.5% of uniformly distributed carbon black are able to be stored or used outdoors in the open air for 50 years without being damaged by ultraviolet radiation.
(6) Good abrasion resistance: the comparative test of the abrasion resistance of HDPE pipe and steel pipe shows that the abrasion resistance of HDPE pipe is 4 times of that of steel pipe. In the field of slurry transportation, compared with steel pipe, HDPE pipe has better abrasion resistance, which means thaT Hdpe pipe has longer service time and better economy.
