HDPE Pipe for Drinking Water Supply
Product Features
1. Hygiene and safety
It complies with the GB/T 17219 drinking water hygiene standard, is non-toxic and free of heavy metal additives, avoiding secondary pollution
2. Flexible and convenient
The coil design is convenient for transportation and laying, and is especially suitable for small-diameter (DN20-DN63) terminal water supply or decentralized irrigation
3. Corrosion resistance and low-temperature resistance
Resistant to chemical medium corrosion, applicable temperature range: -20℃ to 40℃ (some HDPE models can be extended to -60℃ to 60℃)
Main Application Scenarios
Household and community water supply: Terminal drinking water delivery, such as household water purification systems and direct drinking water pipelines in residential areas
Agricultural drip irrigation/micro-sprinkler: Small-diameter coils are suitable for drip irrigation tape branches or greenhouse micro-sprinkler systems
Emergency water supply: Rapidly deployed temporary drinking water pipelines (such as in disaster relief scenarios)
Key Points for Selection and Construction
1. Material selection
HDPE (PE100 grade) is preferred as it features high strength and excellent pressure resistance (up to 1.6MPa).
2. Quality identification
Check that the appearance is smooth without bubbles and the color is uniform (black contains carbon black for UV resistance, and white is the natural color material).
3. Connection method
For DN≤63mm, hot-melt socket or electrofusion connection is adopted to ensure the sealing of the interface
Common specifications
Diameter: DN20, DN25, DN32, DN40, DN50, DN63
Coil length: Usually 200 meters per coil, customizable
